Ethology and the practice of Applied Zoopharmacognosy

This is an informative and practical workshop that will leave you excited to learn more. The class will begin in discussion where you can ask all those questions that you have wanted to ask and share stories about your experiences.

Caroline will then lead you through the practice of Applied Zoopharmacognosy explaining how and why a cat works with different plant compounds. She will help you read responses to aromatic chemicals and you will learn how to look at behaviours that underpin the subtle responses that guide you into knowing what plant compounds are needed to restore health.

Caroline will work with a variety of cats and conditions at Holy Hedge Rescue Centre. You will learn how to work safely and effectively with cats and what they select for various conditions. Caroline will end the day with how to work with psychotherapeutic oils.
